From: Tom Miles, Conference Chair

We are heading into the final stages of organization for the conference... If you have already registered, thank you! If you still need to register, do so at this link.

See usbi2016.org for more on travel, lodging, parking at OSU, and other important conference information.

We have had more than 250 people register. Attendees will include: feedstock producers; conversion technologies; biochar processors, brokers and distributors; users such as agencies, farmers, growers, individuals and commercial landscape and environmental services; private and public laboratory and research organizations; non-profits; public policy makers; and regulators. Presentations and attendees represent the challenges and opportunities of all the diverse ecologies in North America with contributions from Asia, the Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Let's take this opportunity to identify productive directions and strategies for product quality and use guidelines, producer and consumer education, market development, appropriate technology applications, research and policy, so that all can enjoy the benefits of biochar.

We are really looking forward to a robust program, great networking, and an all around great time!

  Thank you sponsors!
