ACI's 2018 Career & Internship Fair
|
|
Remind your son or daughter to join USF at the ACI Career and Internship Fair, Presented in Partnership with Citi, on
Friday, March 23
from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at North Central College, Naperville.
The 65,000 students enrolled at ACI’s 24 liberal arts-based colleges and universities are the promising prospects Illinois needs to build a 21st century workforce. ACI brings employers and students together for the first-ever Career and Internship Fair. This exciting full-day event offers employers and students opportunities to meet and interact in formal and informal settings – and to match the right job or internship with the right student.
ACI’s Career and Internship Fair includes:
- Employer “Expos” — morning and afternoon exhibit sessions that showcase employers to prospects and prospects to employers. Businesses that participate as “Premium” partners can schedule interviews with prospects they select in advance.
- Career Development Luncheon, sponsored by TTX Company – employers, students and career-services professionals sit shoulder-to-shoulder to explore the challenges and opportunities of worklife and learn first-hand about the benefits liberal arts graduates bring to the workplace.
- Networking Lounge – Employers and prospects can chat in an informal, relationship-building environment.
- Skill-Building Sessions – With sponsorship from GROWMARK, Inc., Northern Trust and other key employers, students can acquire skills that help them map their careers and prepare for success.

USF students can give their Parent(s) access to view certain items in the MyUSF Portal by creating a proxy parent account. In order to accomplish this, the student can sign into their MyUSF Portal, and under the tab "For Students," click on the link "Parent Account Manager." The student will be presented with an on-line form to set up the account. Students can selectively choose to give their parent access to Schedule & Grades, Financial Aid, Transcript, Tuition Bill or Campus Residency information. Access can be given to individual items, or the student can give access to all items.
The student must provide a parent E-Mail address and assign a password for the account. By accomplishing this process, the student agrees to grant Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) access to the designated parent(s).

Birthday Cakes for Current Students
|
|
At the cost of $5, the Alumni & Family Relations Office will provide your student with an individual-sized birthday cake made with love by Joliet’s own Milano’s Bakery. The cake will be held in the Alumni & Family Relations Office for pick-up on the first Monday of the student’s birthday month. Your student will be notified by telephone that they have a special birthday delivery, and that they will have until the end of that work week to pick-up their cake. All cakes will say “Happy Birthday (Name)” but you may include a special message to be printed on a card that will be attached to the cake box.
- Orders and payment are due one week prior to the delivery date.
- Please note that cakes are only distributed during the academic year (September through April).
