ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON THE BLACK EXPERIENCE
Kicking off Black Heritage Month, USF’s Institute on Black Life (IBL) will hold its annual conference on the St. Petersburg campus for the first time. IBL will bring together academics, community leaders, students and residents to highlight community projects and facilitate ongoing research into the history and culture of the Black experience. A web portal will be unveiled at the conference that serves as a repository of information on historical and contemporary African American communities in Tampa Bay.

EXPAND YOUR WORLD VIEW
The St. Petersburg Conference on World Affairs will bring together distinguished diplomats, military, media and academic experts to discuss critical international issues of the day. The themes include Climate, Equality, Corruption and Migration on a global level and how they align with challenges here in St. Petersburg. This year's format will allow for a hybrid virtual and in-person experience. The conference is free and open to the public, but you must register for tickets in advance.

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION CONFERENCE
The Diversity & Inclusion Conference will enhance the learning, understanding and development of concepts surrounding diversity, inclusion and social justice for students, faculty and staff. The workshops will focus on three themes: Resiliency, Racial Battle Fatigue and Celebrating Excellence. These intentional workshops will explore real and important conversations while celebrating the hard work we all have done. This year's pre-conference will offer an in-person and virtual option, while the conference will be entirely virtual. The event is free, but attendees must register for the event.
