Elizabeth Bailey, Jessica Barno, Charlotte Clark, Bridget Finnerty and Elizabeth Traband have been chosen to act as Stable Managers.

The 2014 National Training Session will be led by Olympic gold medalist Peter Wylde and expert stable manager Anne Thornbury, and will be held at the James L. Child, Jr. Equestrian Complex at the University of Findlay. Findlay is home to a premiere equestrian program which boasts a long history of top placings in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Nationals. The 32-acre James L. Child Jr. Equestrian Complex, four miles south of the main campus, has two indoor arenas, an outdoor sand ring and a grass jumping field. Also housed at the equestrian complex is the University Equine Veterinary Services, Inc., a veterinary clinic offering emergency and routine surgery services.

Riders who are invited to attend the National Training Session are selected based on their riding and stable management skills, written test results and potential shown during the Regional Training Sessions. For the three-and-a-half day National Training Session, the finalists ride and care for a horse provided by the host facility and assigned to them by EAP representatives. Finalists are instructed on flatwork, over fences work, stable management and horse welfare during the National Training Session, which ends with a Nations-Cup style competition to determine an overall EAP Champion.
