Russia's Gazprom Neft readies for oil output hike as global deal seen easing
Reuters: June 9th, 2018:
Gazprom Neft, the fastest-growing Russian oil major in terms of output, is re
ady to hike crude production if the global deal on output cuts is eased, company head Alexander Dyukov told reporters on Saturday.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other leading oil producers including Russia have agreed to cut their combined output by 1.8 million barrels per day in order to smooth out global oil stockpiles and support oil prices.

Baker Hughes: US rig count climbs 2 units to 1,062
Oil & Gas Journal: June 8th, 2018:
The US drilling rig count reached 1,062 units working, up 2 rigs the week ended June 8, according to Baker Hughes data. The count is up 135 units from this time a year ago when the count stood at 927.
Offshore units were up 1 unit from last week with 20 rigs working. A total of 1,039 rigs were drilling on land, unchanged from last week. The number of rigs drilling in inland waters was up 1 unit to 3 working.

The World's Largest Oil & Gas Companies 2018: Royal Dutch Shell Surpasses Exxon As Top Dog
Forbes: June 6th, 2018:
Royal Dutch Shell took the top spot among oil and gas companies on the Forbes Global 2000's list of the biggest and most powerful public companies, surpassing last year's leader Exxon Mobil Corp.
The Anglo-Dutch oil and gas giant ranked 11th among all companies on the list, up from 20th the previous year, mostly because of higher sales due to lofty commodity prices. Irving, Texas-based Exxon came in at 13th, the same as last year.

Parker Drilling Company (PKD) Moves Higher on Volume Spike for June 11

Parker Drilling Company (PKD) traded on unusually high volume on Jun. 11, as the stock gained 8.11% to close at $0.40. On the day, Parker Drilling Company saw 2.27 million shares trade hands on 3,970 trades. Considering that the stock averages only a daily volume of 1.28 million shares a day over the last month, this represents a pretty significant bump in volume over the norm.
Generally speaking, when a stock experiences a sudden spike in trading volume, it may be seen as a bullish signal for investors. An increase in volume means more market awareness for the company, potentially setting up a more meaningful move in stock price. The added volume also provides a level of support and stability for price advances.

Construction and operation permit for Nord Stream 2 granted by Sweden

Nord Stream 2 AG today obtained the permit to construct and operate its planned pipeline system in the Swedish Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
The 1,230-kilometres-long pipeline system will transport natural gas from Russia to the European Union. The permit was granted by the government, represented by the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation, which is in charge of the application. The permit covers an approximately 510-kilometres-long route section in the Swedish EEZ.

Gazprom Neft and IBM expand joint work on new digital projects

Gazprom Neft reported today that the company and IBM agreed on expanding cooperation in new technological projects in on-shore oil production.
One of the possible directions is the consideration of joint work on the methodology for the introduction of a Digital Laboratory by Gazprom Neft. On the basis of the Digital Laboratory, new technologies will be tested to improve the efficiency of geological exploration and production of on-shore oil reserves.

'Krasnodar', Iran's new goods export destination in Russia

Chairman of Iran and Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce Hadi Tizhoush Taban here on Sunday revealed the selection of Krasnodar province in Russia as Iran's new goods export destination and said, "this Russian province is suitable for the export of Iranian industrial, construction and agricultural products in particular."
He pointed to the vast area of Russia and added, "in the past years, Astrakhan port was considered as major trade and business hub between Iran and Russia for transporting Iranian goods to other parts of this country but with the studies made in this regard, Krasnodar in Russia, was chosen as a suitable destination for shipping Iranian goods and products to Russia."

Russian fund, Saudi Arabia to invest in one of Russia's top logistics operators
Tass.com, June 14, 2018: The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Public Invesment Fund (PIF), a Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund, will invest in one of Russia's top five logistics operators, Professional Logistics Technologies (PLT), RDIF said in a statement on Thursday. The agreement was reached during the visit of the Crown Prince, Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud to Russia, the statement said.

Russia's auto producer GAZ eyes foothold in Vietnam
En. vietnamplanplus.vn, June 11, 2018: Russian auto manufacturer GAZ Group is planning to enter the Vietnamese market by setting up a joint venture for distribution and later by assembling autos in the country.
The biggest manufacturer in Russia is, for the first time, taking part in the Vietnam International Exhibition on Automobile & Transportation and Supporting Industry (Vietnam AutoExpo 2018) in Hanoi. It is showcasing five new car models to study the market. They are the medium duty vans GaZelle NEXT and GAZelle Business 4x4, 19-seat bus GAZelle Next Citiline, and medium-duty trucks GAZon NEXT and Sadko 4x4.

Fortum-Rusnano grabs 823 MW in Russian wind tender
Renewablesnow.com, June 14, 2018: Finnish utility Fortum Oyj (HEL:FORTUM) has won the right to build 110 MW of solar parks in Russia in the country's latest clean energy tender, while its partnership with Rusnano has secured 823 MW of wind projects.
The photovoltaic (PV) parks are scheduled for commissioning in the 2021-2022 period and will get a guaranteed power price of around EUR 150 (USD 177) per MWh for 15 years, Fortum said on Wednesday.

Digging to China: Russia's mega gas pipeline nears completion

One of the world's longest gas pipelines, the Power of Siberia, which aims to deliver Russian natural gas to China, is nearly 85 percent complete.
According to the Russian energy giant Gazprom, the section from the Chayandinskoye field (Yakutia) to the border with China is already built. The second tunnel of the underwater crossing of the pipeline through the Amur River is also complete, it said.

Despite not playing, U.S. leads World Cup flight booking growth to Russia

Novgorod region to implement Skolkovo medical innovations
Sk.ru, June 14, 2018: Cutting-edge medical systems developed by Skolkovo resident startups will be introduced in the Novgorod region under a cooperation agreement signed on Thursday.
The signing followed a meeting between representatives of the regional Health Ministry and Skolkovo Foundation biomed startups. The two sides agreed to launch pilot projects of five Skolkovo startup medical systems, including one developed by Intellogic (Botkin.AI) that uses artificial intelligence for diagnostics, which will be introduced at a Novgorod cancer clinic.

Armenian government to negotiate price of Russian natural gas in November

The government of Armenia plans to begin negotiations on the price of Russian natural gas in November, Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Arthur Grigoryan told reporters of the Armenian news agency Arca after a Cabinet session.
«When discussions with the Russian side are over, and we receive concrete proposals, we will inform the public,» he said, adding that the talks will focus on the price of gas at which it is shipped to Armenia, not on the price at which it is sold to Armenian households. He said the latter issue is up to the Public Services Regulation Committee (PSRC).

Россия с начала сельхозсезона увеличила экспорт зерна на 47%
Finam.ru, 14 июня, 2018: По оперативным данным ФТС России, на 13 июня (без учета экспорта в страны ЕАЭС) экспортировано порядка 50,5 млн тонн зерна, что на 47% больше, чем за аналогичный период прошлого сезона (34,3 млн тонн), говорится в сообщении Минсельхоза.
Экспорт пшеницы с начала сельхозсезона составил более 39 млн тонн, что на 49% выше уровня аналогичного периода прошлого года.
Вывоз ячменя достиг 5,6 млн тонн, что в 2 раза выше уровня аналогичного периода прошлого года.

Добыча угля в России по итогам года вырастет на 1%
Ria.ru, 13 июня, 2018: Добыча угля в России вырастет по итогам 2018 года примерно на 1%, до 413 миллионов тонн, говорится в документах, подписанных по итогам заседания совета министров союзного государства РФ и Белоруссии.
При этом потребление угля в России ожидается на уровне 192,5 миллионов тонн, в Белоруссии - 630 тысяч тонн, из которых 530 тысяч тонн будут поставлены из России.
Экспорт угля из России ожидается на уровне 192,47 миллиона тонн (плюс 3,3% к уровню прошлого года), также следует из этих материалов.

Эксперт: Россия увеличит в этом году экспорт мяса на 30 процентов
Sfera.fm, 15 июня, 2018: Россия увеличит экспорт мяса в текущем году на 30%, а импорт этого продукта снизит на 30-40%, считает ведущий аналитик Национальной мясной ассоциации (НМА) Диана Низовцева.
«Падение ввоза трёх видов мяса - свинины, говядины и мяса птицы - в РФ в этом году может достичь 30-40%. Импорт из стран дальнего зарубежья оценивается в 400-500 тысяч тонн. В то же время Белоруссия может ввезти до 300 тысяч тонн», - подсчитала эксперт.
В результате, доля мясного импорта на российском рынке по итогам этого года может составить 7% против 10% в прошлом году.
