Exxon signs largest renewable power contract to produce oil in Permian Basin

Dallasnews.com, November 28, 2018: Exxon Mobil Corp. will use renewable energy to produce oil in West Texas. Under 12-year agreements with Denmark's Orsted A/S, Exxon will buy 500 megawatts of wind and solar power in the Permian Basin, the fastest growing U.S. oil field. It is the largest ever renewable power contract signed by an oil company, according to Bloomberg NEF. Terms weren't disclosed.  Read more...

Russian-Argentine trade turnover grows by 26%

Tass.com, November 29, 2018: Russian-Argentine trade turnover has grown by 26% in the first 9 months of this year, Chairman of the Russia-Argentina Council of Entrepreneurs Andrei Guryev stated on Thursday. "In the first 9 months of 2018, the trade turnover has grown by 26%. This is a huge result," he said during the council's session in Buenos Aires. According to Guryev, Russian export to the South American republic has grown by 56% in this period, while Argentine export has increased by 15%.  Read more...
Afreximbank ropes in Russian companies to invest in railway projects in Africa

Engineeringnews.co.za, November 30, 2018: The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) said on Friday it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Russian Railways and the Russian Export Center (REC) to cooperate in implementing export and investment projects in the railway sector in Africa. Under the terms of the MoU, the parties will undertake mutual consultations on export and investment projects abroad and by jointly developing project financing schemes in the sector.  Read more...
As Trade Turnover Grows, Russian and British Businesses Enter into New Contracts

Sputniknews.com, 27 November, 2018: The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre hosted the annual Russian-British Business Forum (RBBF), which has, for the fourth year in a row, served as a platform for discussions, presentations of Russian developments, and the signing of bilateral agreements. The theme of this year's forum was 'Partnership in Innovation', driving discussions in four panel sessions, two roundtables, and a networking lunch for Russian startups and international investors and banks. India, Russia Agree To Partner On Blockchain, AI Projects At St Petersburg Summit

Inc42.com, November 28, 2018:  India and Russia agreed to increase cooperation in using technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, according to the joint statement released by the two countries after the first India-Russia Strategic Economic Dialogue held last week at St Petersburg.  The summit was led by Niti Aayog vice chairman Rajiv Kumar and minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin.  Read more...
Russian-African Business Forum Slated For June 2019 - Russian Foreign Ministry

Urdupoint.com, November 29, 2018:  The annual meeting of shareholders of the African Export-Import  Bank (Afreximbank) as well as the Russian-African  business forum are scheduled for  June  2019, the  Russian Foreign Ministry said Thursday in a statement. Preparations for the events were discussed by  Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Minister of  Industry and Trade Georgy Kalamanov, and Afreximbank President and Chairman Benedict Okey Oramah.

Maersk to start reefer rail service in Russia

Themeditelegraph.com, November 28, 2018: St. Petersburg - Maersk intends to develop refer rail service in Russian from sea port into hinterland. According to Maersk Russia, the line has already made test shipments of perishables by rail. Thus, import fruit was dispatched from St. Petersburg to Novosibirsk. Russia, China may cooperate in Arctic energy projects - Rosneft CEO

Tass.com, November 29, 2018: The Russian-Chinese cooperation in the energy sector may continue in joint development of the Arctic shelves, as well as of the Russian Far East's deposits, CEO of Russia's biggest oil company Rosneft Igor Sechin said on Thursday. "New growth points in the Russian-Chinese cooperation could be joint development of the oil and gas resources on the shelves of the Arctic and the Russian Far East, as well as development of navigation along the Northern Sea Route," he said at the First Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum in Beijing.  Read more...

Youth of Belarus, Russia working on joint business projects

Eng.belta.by, November 27, 2018: The youth of Belarus and Russia are interested in implementing joint projects in business and entrepreneurship, BelTA learned from Oleg Dikun, Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRSM Youth Union. The first Russian-Belarusian youth business incubator has opened at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow. It enrolled 20 people: 10 from each country. Russia's S7 Airlines opens new direct flight to Uzbekistan

En.trend.az, November 28, 2018: From Dec. 4, Russia's S7 Airlines opens direct regular flights from Novosibirsk to Uzbekistan's Namangan, Uzbek media reported. Tickets for the new flight are already on sale. Flights will be operated on Tuesdays. The plane takes off from Novosibirsk at 13:55 and lands in Namangan at 14:55 local time. The return flight departs at 16:25 and arrives in Novosibirsk at 21:20. The flights will be operated on Airbus A320 planes.  Read more...
Russia's Astrakhan ready to help Tatarstan export products to Azerbaijan

En.trend.az, November 30, 2018: The Astrakhan region of Russia, where Iran's trading house and Azerbaijan's business center are already actively operating, is ready to help promote export of products from Russia's Tatarstan Republic to the markets of the Caspian states, TASS reported quoting acting governor of the region Sergey Morozov. "We offer Tatarstan access to foreign markets through the Astrakhan region," he said following signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Astrakhan region and Tatarstan.  Read more...

Россия может увеличить экспорт сжиженного природного газа в шесть раз до 2036 года

Korabel.ru, 29 ноября, 2018: Представлен базовый сценарий прогноза социально-экономического развития России до 2036 года. Минэкономразвития ожидает роста в 1,5 раза экспорта газа в 2036 году по сравнению с фактом 2017 года - до 320,6 млрд кубометров. Экспорт сжиженного природного газа (СПГ) вырастет в шесть раз и достигнет 68,7 млн тонн, говорится в базовом сценарии прогноза социально-экономического развития России на период до 2036 года. Об этом передает ТАСС. Согласно документу, экспорт газа в дальнее зарубежье в 2036 году увеличится на 62,5%, до 290,1 млрд кубометров, в ближнее сократится на 11% - до 30,5 млрд кубометров.  Читать далее...
Россия увеличила экспорт зерна почти на 13%

Rns.online, 26 ноября, 2018: По состоянию на 22 ноября экспорт зерновых составил 23,4 млн тонн - на 12,9% больше, чем за аналогичный период прошлого года, следует из материалов Минсельхоза. «По оперативным данным ФТС России на 22.11.2018 в текущем 2018/2019 сельскохозяйственном году экспортировано зерновых культур 23,4 млн тонн, что на 12,9% выше, чем за аналогичный период прошлого сезона (20,7 млн тонн)», - сказано в материалах министерства.  Читать далее...
Россия увеличит экспорт зерна и мяса в Индию

Ukragroconsult.com, 27 ноября, 2018: Россия и Индия ведут переговоры и подготовительную работу для увеличения экспорта в Индию зерна и животноводческой продукции, сообщили в российском Минсельхозе.  «Российская Федерация отправляет в Индию зерновые и зернобобовые культуры, подсолнечное и рапсовое масла, а также семена сельскохозяйственных культур.
