Of the many things OPM's Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) reveals, one thing is clear: The more agencies across government engage and include their employees, the more satisfied, productive, and motivated the workforce becomes. 

 
85:1 -A Record Return on Investment in FY16
USTDA achieved its highest return on investment since its creation in 1992, generating $85 in exports of U.S.-manufactured goods and services for every $1 it invests in development projects in emerging economies.

USTDA is hosting the Vietnam Natural Gas Sector Reverse Trade Mission on October 16-29, 2016. The delegation will include up to 12 high-level representatives from Vietnam's energy sector seeking to modernize, expand and improve the overall efficiency and performance of the country's natural gas infrastructure.

As part of the Vietnam Natural Gas Sector Reverse Trade Mission  there will be a one-day Business Briefing in Houston, Texas on October 24, 2016. This Business Briefing will provide a forum for 12 high-level representatives from Vietnam's energy sector to share information with U.S. companies on their needs, upcoming procurements and plans for natural gas development in Vietnam. One-on-one meetings with the delegates will be arranged for U.S. companies.

U.S.-China Healthcare Leadership Study Tour
Date: October 23 - November 5, 2016
Cities: Chicago, IL; Pittsburgh, PA

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is sponsoring the China Healthcare Leadership Study Tour for a delegation of 25 officials from national and provincial healthcare agencies and hospitals of the People's Republic of China. This training program will familiarize delegates with U.S. policies, technologies, standards, and industry best practices in the fields of healthcare and hospital administration. 

Nigeria Railway Modernization Reverse Trade Mission 
Date: November 7-18, 2016
Cities: Washington, D.C.; Chicago, IL; Erie, PA; Dallas, TX

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is hosting a reverse trade mission (RTM) to introduce key stakeholders from Nigeria's rail sector to U.S. technologies, equipment and services that can help them implement freight and passenger rail projects in Nigeria. The RTM will cover regulations, policy structures and financing mechanisms that promote successful rail development.

As part of the  Nigeria Railway Modernization Reverse Trade Mission there will be a one-day Business Briefing in Arlington, VA on November 9, 2016. This Business Briefing will provide a forum for key stakeholders from Nigeria's rail sector to share information with U.S. companies on their needs, upcoming procurements and plans for freight and passenger rail projects in Nigeria. One-on-one meetings with the delegates will be arranged for U.S. companies.

As part of the  Colombia Airport Infrastructure and Operations Reverse Trade Mission, there will be a one-day business briefing in USTDA's Business Center in Arlington, VA on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. This event will provide a forum for Colombian airport operators and key government stakeholders in Colombia's airport industry to share information with U.S. industry on their needs, upcoming procurements, and plans for future airport projects in Colombia. One-on-one meetings with the delegates will be arranged for U.S. companies.
