We are a Congregation creating a better world by nurturing the heart and expanding the mind.
We provide a safe, caring community where all can freely explore diverse religious thought. We work for justice and equality with the power of compassion and compassionate power.

When we are centered in joy, we attain our wisdom."
Sundays in March will be devoted to exploring the topic of joy. How can we find joy when there is so much in the world about which to worry?
I would say that this is exactly the time we need most to connect with joy so that we can laugh and also be hopeful about the future. We have some extremely exciting programming coming, including this Sunday. A community that cannot laugh together, and even laugh at itself, needs to do more of its spiritual homework. :-)
I also ask you if you are able to join us next Wednesday, March 8th for #ADayWithoutAWoman from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Throughout the day we will have workshops, conversation and opportunities for meditation so that we can be happy, centered peacemakers.
I wish you the blessings of a smile each day. And if your Joy cannot make you smile. maybe your smile can bring you Joy.

Sundays in March
As a congregation we will be exploring the theme of joy - and what better way to tie that into our lessons than celebrating nature and the changing of the seasons! Through lessons based on our 6th UU Source - the Spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature - we will happily welcome the spring together!

We've welcomed many new members to our beloved congregation in the past year. Some of you may not be aware that we have string groups, brass groups, an impromptu orchestra, as well as other instrumental groups from time to time on Sunday mornings. If you play ANY instrument, we welcome your presence up front. In particular, I'm looking for string players we're unaware of to participate with us March 26. If you're interested or unavailable but would like to play some time, please send your contact information to me, Judy Weaver, at email@example.com. If you play another kind of instrument, please make your presence known to our Music Director, John Bailey, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
John will be directing other music groups that day. Thanks!
Let yourself be silently drawn
by the strange pull of what you really love.
It will not lead you astray.
