Reflection...

I cannot even imagine
where I would be today
were it not for that handful of friends
who have given me a heart full of joy.
Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun.

~ Charles R. Swindoll

Beloveds,

I am so looking forward to this Sunday:  the annual tradition of our April Fool's service.

It is so important that we be able to laugh together and maybe even laugh at ourselves sometimes.  The deeper significance is that when the world feels like it is in chaos, we must always remember that there is still friendship, and joy in the world.  Please join us.

In blessing -
Rabbi Chava

Sunday Service
Sunday, April 2 - Rabbi Chava Bahle & Sarah Montgomery-Richards
1 0:30 AM Service:  "Building Us Up "
Chaucer's "Nun's Priest's Tale" marks the first known mention of April Fool's Day, though its origins are much older.  UUCGT has a marvelous annual tradition of an April Fool's service.
Come and see:  be delighted, let's learn to laugh a little at ourselves and continue the theme of awakening joy.

Lifespan Experience  f or Children and Youth
(and Fam ilies!)
Sunday Service:  10:30 a.m.
Sunday programming for Children and Youth throughout the remainder of this program year will complement Sunday Services in our efforts to move closer to congregational thematic ministry.  This thematic calendar will explore the Six Source traditions, and consider wisdom from around the world.

CHILD / YOUTH OF THE MONTH!
Our Child of the Month is Jack Matchett!

Make sure you take a moment to greet Jack when you see him, and check out the poster featuring him in the social hall all of this month!
Each month we will give special attention to a child or youth from our UUCGT community!  A picture of them will be featured in the social hall, along with a little bit about them.  Interested in more information and how to participate?  Contact the office!

Sundays in March
As a congregation we will be exploring the theme of joy - and what better way to tie that into our lessons than celebrating nature and the changing of the seasons!  Through lessons based on our 6th UU Source - the Spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature - we will happily welcome the spring together!

Our Pledge Drive for the 2017-2018 fiscal year is going well.  However, several folks have not yet pledged.  If you haven't taken the opportunity to pledge, please do so as soon as possible so we can wrap up our Pledge Drive.

You should have received a reminder letter with a pledge form last week.  If you have misplaced your pledge materials, please contact Kay Sturgeon to get a pledge form.

We appreciate every gift and every giver.  Thank you.
