As Upstate Venture Association of New York continues to expand, we're hosting even more events with accomplished speakers in new cities each month.

Since the beginning of the year, we've  welcomed NYS Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul as the keynote speaker at our SUNY New Paltz event, launched a new middle market investor series that featured executives from Chobani and Aavid Niagara, hosted several member-only CEO Roundtables, and gathered the "deal community" at unique events from NYC to Buffalo.

We're also proud to have played a critical role in the formation of the Hudson Valley Start Up Fund that was officially launched at the UVANY New Paltz event on March 31, with help from Upstate Venture Connect

Each quarter, we profile people who are making major contributions to our ecosystem. This time, we're showcasing Ken Rosenfeld, President, CEO and Co-Founder of eHealth Technologies (a UVANY growth company member), Randy Bianchi, Partner at Summer Street Capital, and Chuck Stormon, Manager Partner of StartFast Venture Accelerator.

If you haven't become a member yet, we encourage you to apply to receive the full association benefits we have to offer, including invitations to member only events, detailed quarterly upstate deal information, and opportunities to sponsor UVANY events.

Thanks again for your interest in our association, and we hope you enjoy our second edition on venture updates in Upstate.
