Hoa Vu, City Tech ’20, started college with the simple goal of getting a job after graduation. But along the way, she found her calling: doing good work alongside good people. While building her skills in video editing and motion design through multiple internships, she earned the nationwide Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) fellowship twice — in 2020 and 2021.
Hoa’s advice: “One of the most valuable skills I’ve learned in college is accountability: for yourself, and those around you. Maintaining constant communication is a very important skill that will help you grow in any internship or job.”
