EXAM DETAILS

Successful completion of the exam provides Class A/B Operator certification.

 

The exam is open book and consists of 60 questions.  Participants have 90 minutes to complete the exam.  75% of the questions must be answered correctly to pass and become certified.

Underground Storage Tank Operator Training

and Class A/B Certification and Re-certification

A CT ROAD MASTER PROGRAM ELECTIVE WORKSHOP
This course provides participants with the information they need to comply with the latest Connecticut Underground Storage Tank (UST) regulations. 
 
It includes what you need to know to stay in compliance and gives you direction on how to create your own inspection forms and conduct your own Class C training.
 
After the morning training session, participants will take the Class A/B Operator Exam.
Who Should Attend

This program is designed for those municipal highway officials responsible for the operation and maintenance of Underground Storage Tanks (UST).
Fleet Managers, Directors of Public Works, Highway Superintendents and Foremen are encouraged to attend.
Course Instructor

Plato Doundoulakis is the Principal Scientist at Atlas Environmental.  He has more than 30 years of experience in environmental and petroleum industry consulting.  He is a certified Class A/B operator, a Licensed Environmental Professional and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
 
Atlas Environmental is an approved provider of UST Operator Certification training and has been managing UST system compliance since 1994.
