Hello Learners Chess Parents and Friends

We have some unfortunate news to report today. Two nights ago, our headquarters endured an overnight break-in and robbery. We lost four laptops, a tablet, over $200 in cash, and a safe. Investigators came and got finger prints and we have repaired the damaged windows. In total, recovering from this incident will cost us $1,350.

As a small local non-profit organization with limited funds, we are asking for help in this recovery effort.
If you are able to spare $10, $20, $50, or more, please do help us get through this unfortunate incident. Click here to make a donation to our recovery effort today. Alternatively, if you have a laptop to donate, we can usually make them work for our needs, as we use a few of them just for our chess camps, for students to work on interactive chess activities.

We are saddened that there are people in our community who resort to these type of senseless crimes and it does hurt to lose the property that we lost, but we won't let it drain our spirit.
Whether you can help us out today or not, we thank you for being a part of our supportive community.

-Coach Victor

  • Remember, this summer we have two weeks of camp in Rio Rancho, one week in Corrales, and one week in Santa Fe
  • We also have four different weeks of Girls Camp, when girls get a special discount for attending that week. We very much aim to get more girls involved in chess.
  • Advanced Camp is July 17th-21st!
  • Need-based scholarships are available for summer camp! Sign up first then apply from the link in your confirmation email.
  • Summer camp is one of the best places for kids to get the most benefits from chess, as the completely immerse themselves in a fun and rewarding week of chess learning.
  • Studies show that the most benefits from learning chess are had by those kids who are less inclined to be good at it. Your young artistic/performer/athlete student may not ever be a chess champion and that is completely fine with us, especially because they are the students who have the most to gain from learning the chess basics before they go one to other more collaborative and creative pursuits in middle and high school.
