BREAST CANCER SCREENING CAMPAIGN

On May 4 th , Bee Sweet Citrus Inc. employees were provided with healthcare, nutrition and eligibility information during the Breast Cancer Screening Mammograms in the Life Saving Images mobile unit. The event was co-sponsored by UHC and Susan G. Komen.
CORCORAN
ANNUAL SPRINGFEST & AFTERSHOCK CAR SHOW

 On May 19 th , UHC staff in Corcoran provided blood pressure screenings and enrollment information to more than 100 people during the SpringFest & AfterShock Car Show.

The ICARE Bear posed for photographs and handed out sunglasses to children. UHC was among several organizations invited by the Corcoran Chamber of Commerce, which organized the annual event in downtown Corcoran.
PARLIER SCHOOL-BASED
SCHOOL REGISTRATION

On May 16 th , the Parlier School-Based Health Center staff provided healthcare information, as well as, blood pressure and immunization checks to parents during Registration at Mathew J. Brletic Elementary School.
UHC Years of Service Program
On May 17 th , UHC hosted a Years of Service ceremony at the DoubleTree Hotel & Conference Center in Fresno. Honorees received recognition items for their various years of service. Dr. James Scott was honored for his 35 years as Dental Provider in Orange Cove.
ORANGE COVE
ORANGE COVE CAR SHOW

On May 12 th , m ore than 350 people attended the Orange Cove Car Show organized by the Orange Cove Chamber of Commerce, which featured a variety of classic cars, trucks and bicycles, as well as, many vendors.

UHC staff provided information about UHC services, health education, as well as, blood pressure checks at this annual event.
DEL REY
UHC JOINS POM WONDERFUL WELLNESS FAIR

On May 30 th , UHC staff from the Fowler and Sanger Health Centers participated in the Pom Wonderful Wellness Fair in Del Rey.

Services were provided at the processing plant to more than 150 people who attended the 3-hour event. 
PARLIER
RED NOSE DAY

On May 23 rd , staff in Administration, as well as, in the Parlier Health Center participated in the nationwide effort Red Nose Day.

The campaign aims to end child poverty by raising awareness and funds to help children in need. UHC staff gladly wore the red noses throughout the day to show their support.
Fresno Healthcare Coalition Strategy Forum
On May 16 th, several members of the UHC Leadership team and UHC staff, attended the Fresno Healthcare Coalition Strategy Forum at The Falls Event Center in Fresno.
UHC Deputy CEO, Justin Preas, served as panelist in a discussion about the local impact on healthcare systems during the forum organized by Centro La Familia Advocacy Services.
DELANO
MAYA CINEMAS GRAND OPENING

On May 16 th , UHC staff attended the Grand Opening of Maya Cinemas in Delano. The event included speakers, music and dance performances.

UHC staff provided information about programs and services available in the Earlimart Health Center.

RAFFLE TICKET SALE
Buy raffle tickets and support the UHC Foundation sending children from underserved communities to a once-in-a-lifetime summer camp getaway.
