Information Services
You may have noticed that the call category "Information Services" is frequently in the top three within 2-1-1 NH's monthly list of top ten call categories. Information Services includes referrals that we make to electronic information resources, specific information & referral programs, information lines, library services, media services, and public awareness/education campaigns. Also included in this category are referrals to an agency or services where no specific category of need can be detected-for example, an information call where only the phone number of an organization is requested and provided and the need cannot be accurately distinguished. | |

This month 2-1-1 NH had a 21% increase in overall call volume from January, largely due to the number of tax related inquiries and appointments that we serviced. We serviced 628 calls for free tax preparation in January, and 1806 in February.
