The United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley has completed its review of 2015-2016 Impact Grants. The annual grants review process determines the distribution of undesignated and donor designated grant funds. The review process involved 36 community volunteers, on five Impact Panels. Volunteers reviewed funding applications, undertook site visits and recommended grant funding to focus on priority human care needs.The Grant Distribution Committee of business, community and student representatives focused on high need areas as identified in the United Way needs assessment in the areas of education, financial stability and health. 2015 Campaign Cabinet Selected
Mr. Scott Harvard, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Bank will serve as the 2015 Campaign Chair.  Scott has been actively recruiting local volunteers to assist with the 2015 Campaign.  He has a great team established and is looking forward to the upcoming campaign. As 2015 Campaign Chair Scott and his team will work to increase the financial resources necessary to help the United Way improve people's lives and to build and increase a solid foundation of support for the United Way movement. Position Summary:
Under the direction of the CEO, the Marketing & Development Manager is responsible for development, marketing (including programs marketing), publications and communications, promotional programs, and special events. This position assists with key development responsibilities including, but not limited to, campaign organization and support, employee workplace support, and campaign speaking.
