We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give. Join United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley on #GivingTuesday and make your gift!

We are leading up to Giving Tuesday with 12 Days of Giving, showcasing 12 amazing stories of how dollars donated to United Way NSV have impacted our community! See our daily giving story on our Facebook and Twittter!

Don't stop there, join the social media "#UnSelfie" movement! Upload your selfie showing the reason you give and volunteer with the hashtag #UnSelfie! Take a look at our staff's #UnSelfies on our website and download our template! 

United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley is looking for 100 businesses to make a pledge for our community of $100; driving a total of $10,000 to the local charities that need it the most.

Not only will small business owners know they are making an impact right here in the Northern Shenandoah Valley, they will also be r ecognized through United Way's website and social media outlets! In addition, they will also receive a "United Way Supporter" window decal to display at their place of business!

We need your help today to reach our goal of 100 businesses giving $100!  Share this initiative with your business contacts!

Save the date for our second campaign fundraising report meeting! United Way will be inviting the community and media to our office to announce the total funds already raised. Join us for our second public announcement of the year!

Rubbermaid Sale - This Saturday!
Join us in the Belk Parking Lot at the Apple Blossom Mall on  Saturday, November 28th, from 8:00a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for the United Way Rubbermaid Sale. This month's sale benefits Boys and Girls Club of Northern Shenandoah Valley.
