We use art, education and action to challenge cultural norms that encourage violence and ignore the spectrum of sexual abuse. We create an awareness and response to any injustices victims, survivors and their communities suffer.

"Step In, Speak Out" is a National Day of Action from the Safe Campus, Strong Voices Campaign. The recent tragedy at Penn State University has demonstrated the critical need for education and awareness of sexual violence. PAVE, Security On Campus and other national groups will be joining forces for this unprecedented initiative - JOIN US!

The recent travesty of justice at PSU presents a unique window of opportunity to fuse our energy and passion to create a unified voice of awareness and prevention.

For all of us who do this work, we know how vastly widespread sexual abuse, rape and trauma are in our society. We also know that the pervasive shame, silence and victim blaming can all too often hinder the healing process.

We must unite and all work together to create positive change!

I look at the breast cancer movement, a topic that was once very taboo, has now flooded the national arena and it has transformed into a cause that everyone wants to be involved in! This is social change...and the time for the sexual abuse movement is NOW!
