Beginning in September, Rev. Linda Guy, a certified spiritual director, will offer what is known as spiritual direction. These are one-hour conversations, usually monthly, in which she helps you discern God's movement in your life. Your divine indwelling is always the true director. Rev. Linda may:
- Mirror and validate the essence of what you are experiencing
- Point out guidance or activity that may have gone unnoticed
- Consider if there is a better question to pose in a situation
- Sit with you in the silence as you go deep within and listen
Spiritual direction is NOT counseling or problem solving. It is specifically concerned with listening to your inner wisdom, increasing reliance on your guidance and living more fully God's specific expression through you. It is safe, nonjudgmental and strictly confidential. First session is free. Love offering thereafter ($50 private rate). Rev. Linda gratefully tithes 10% of revenues to Unity of Prescott.
