Suzanne will share her inspirational presentation: "The Transformative Power of Hope." Until and unless one accepts the premise that our human existence is but one chapter within a timeless greater reality, the tragedies humans face can be devastating and at times unbearable. Join Suzanne Giesemann, a former Navy Commander and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, now an evidence based medium, for a
look at the healing aspects of trans-dimensional communication. Suzanne will take you from tears to joy as she shares fact-filled stories of those in spirit who have helped their loved ones surmount grief by providing that greatest of balms, hope. This powerful presentation laced with evidence of an afterlife provides the catalyst to move beyond hope to full certainty that consciousness survives death. The cost of the workshop is $20.

We will be offering lunch at 12pm before the workshop...for a love offering of $5.00.

More than thirty women accepted the open, church-wide invitation to join together to share a potluck and brainstorm ideas for the future. Excellent ideas for ministry to church members, community service projects, and fund raising projects poured forth with enthusiasm. So many ideas, in fact, that the sharing time had to be drawn to a close before all the ideas were shared! Board members Anne Riggen and Therese Abril provided leadership to gather all the ideas and to compare the plans currently percolating within the Board of Trustees with the suggestions generated from the meeting. Candy Atkinson, Rebecca Szetela and Laurie Gilbreth from the church office provided the organizational planning and support to gather the women together. Lark Zunich volunteered to provide the initial leadership to form a steering committee and begin to turn these great ideas into reality.
Here's how you can get involved...
1. Attend the next Saturday potluck on July 15th at 11:00 am. (Bring a dish to share for (4) people, a plate and eating utensils.) We will be reviewing many of the ideas at this next gathering.
2. If you have a class you can teach, a new idea, or a talent/skill that you would like to share (such as teach yoga, sew, knit or crochet, give a talk, lead energy healing, etc.), send an email or a written note to the church office and detail your abilities and willingness to share this expertise.
All women are welcomed to join in this exciting group!
