A Season of NonViolence is an international movement dedicated to demonstrating that nonviolence is a powerful way to heal, transform, and empower our lives and our communities. It is observed annually during the 64-days between the assassination anniversaries of peacemakers Mahatma Gandhi, on January 30, and Martin Luther King, Jr., on April 4. Book Study - Call for Facilitators/Hosts
As part of Our Path to A New Minister, Transitional Consultant Rev. Ron Fritts has recommended a course of study for our community that includes exploring the book, "I of the Storm" by Rev. Gary Simmons. This book study will occur in the homes of CommUNITY members. For those seeking membership in our community, this course of study will count toward membership requirements.

The Unity People's Convention will be June 12-16, 2017, located at the Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. Because we are a close local Unity community, our support of this event sponsored by Unity Worldwide Ministries is important! Our Path to a New Minister

Welcome Our Transitional Consultant, Rev. Ron Fritts
As we learned last week in the Sunday service, acquiring a new minister will not happen overnight. But we now have help for the journey. Rev. Ron Fritts is our Transitional Consultant and will walk with us on our path to a new minister. With his guidance, we will open our hearts in release and openness to change, consider who we are now, and create the space for our next minister.

Our annual membership meeting will be held Sunday, March 5 at 1:15 p.m. in the Unity of SA Sanctuary located on 1723 West Lawndale in San Antonio.

Just Before the Annual Meeting on March 5, 12:00 p.m.
 No one wants to go to a meeting on an empty stomach! So before our Annual Meeting, why not get a bite to eat and support our Social Host Team and all the events they so generously provide for us throughout the year? Come by the CommUNITY Center after church on March 5. Please place a suggested love offering (suggested donation) of $2.00 per slice of pizza in the basket and have some lunch before the annual meeting. Learn more......
