The sun has set on another successful year at Carolina. The busy buzz of the spring semester has disappeared, and planning for the fall is underway. As your student is settling into their summer routine, remind them to reflect on the past year and set goals for the upcoming semester.
President Harris Pastides sent an email to students yesterday. In the email, he encouraged students to use their summer wisely and to seek their true passion in life. As always, it was an inspiring message, and we think you'll enjoy reading it. It would be a great point of discussion to encourage reflection and goal setting.
Columbia, SC was just named one of eight "under the radar" American cities to visit "before they're too popular." We know the perfect weekend for you to make your trip! Parents Weekend 2017 will be held Oct. 6-8, and registration will open later this month.
