On Display in June

The Franklin Lakes Library has two display cases in the front hallway showcasing an ever changing variety of interesting items. This month, they will showcase the fabulous prizes that can be won by participating in the annual young adult summer reading club.

In the Art Gallery

The Franklin Lakes Art Gallery is currently featuring Artist Samia Elghamrawi. Born in Cairo, Egypt, Samia has been interested in art for as long as she could pick up a paintbrush.  After successfully raising three children and having an accomplished career in accounting, Samia has returned to her first love.  Frequent family vacations to the shore inspired and fueled her passion for seascape and contemporary arts.  This passion is reflected in pieces that simultaneously evoke a sense of peace and whimsy.  In her spare time she loves to dote on her three grandchildren and continues to make regular visits to the shore.

Attention Artists and Collectors!

The Franklin Lakes Public Library is searching for artists to display their works in the art gallery and display cases at the Library. We are also looking for collectors who would like to display collectibles in our display cases or non-profit organizations who would like to promote their organizations.

Please contact Helen Parete at [email protected] or 201-891-2224 for more information.
