Affiliate Program Highlights
Athens-Oconee CASA will be part of the Over the Edge fundraiser on March 18th. This unique event features community participants who will rappel off a downtown building in Athens while raising money for local nonprofits to better serve the community.
CASA of Paulding County celebrated its 20th anniversary in December, in conjunction with its annual volunteer appreciation event. The celebration included a semi-formal dinner at Brookstone Country Club with CASA volunteers, board members, current and former staff, community partners and former CASA youth served by the program. Georgia DFCS Director Bobby Cagle was a special guest in attendance.

Many CASA programs held holiday season events; below is a sampling:
Coastal Plain CASA's annual Casas for CASA playhouse fundraiser raised over $10,000. The CASA program serves Irwin, Tift, Turner and Worth counties.
Enotah CASA (serving Lumpkin, Towns, Union and White counties) hosted the lighting of the town squares in each county. The event was a fundraiser and awareness building tool to inform the communities about abused and neglected children and the role of CASA volunteers in serving children.
Tri-County CASA (serving Appling, Jeff Davis and Wayne counties) had a very successful Holiday Fashion Gala that included a catered dinner, live and silent auctions, decorated Christmas trees, mantles and wreaths, special music, keynote speaker and adult and children's fashion show.
