This weekend, Jesus leads us up the mountain to witness his transfiguration through the bright light of God's glory, naming Jesus as God's beloved Son.

We, too, shine Jesus' light for the world to see as we come down from that mountain and into the reality of the cross and the season of Lent this Wednesday.

It's an emotional rollercoaster, so know that wherever you are this week and whatever feelings may be popping up, Jesus is walking with you and is shining brightly through you.

Shine brighter by wearing your name-tags for the benefit of the whole community. Thank you!

Lent 2018 - God's Love is Greater...

February turns our heads and hearts towards relationships with God and relationships with each other.

On Sundays and Wednesdays, you'll experience how God's LOVE is greater...
greater than sin, greater than fear, and greater than death.

Each Wednesday at 6pm, we welcome you and the whole community to a light supper, followed by a time of worship and experiential learning through activities, discussions, videos, and making kits for people in need.

We are also introducing large group gatherings with a focus on "Faithful Conversations." Beginning the week of February 18th, you're invited to meet in the sanctuary at 9:45am on Sunday morning and in fellowship hall at 7:30pm on Wednesday evening. Share your stories, hear from others, and listen for God.

Join us as we take a pilgrimage to the cross with Jesus this Lenten season,
to reach a love that is greater than anything we've ever known.

So What Happens Now?
Many of you have been asking about what's next after our annual meeting at the end of January.  Over the next few days, keep an eye out for an email and even snail mail that will address those questions and have some concrete next steps for us to take together to move forward with our vision for 2018 and the future. There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion so you can share your voice and be a part of God's mission at ELC.
