Save the date for Friends Theatre Club Planning Event
The Friends of the Avenue of the Arts Theater Club is planning a meeting to plan which plays we all would like to see this coming season.
We are negotiating for a space for us to gather in on Saturday September 24th from 4:00 to 5:30 PM.
The group hopes to select events we'd like to attend during the coming season.
We would also like to have your direction on how best to plan attendance so we have time as a group meet and talk about the experiences before or after the events.
Please hold the afternoon of the 24th of September and we will get back to you as soon as a location is finalized.
Food and drink will be served.
Thank you.

Location:
Double Tree Standng O at Broad & Locust
From the celebrated author of The Secret Life of Bees, a #1 New York Times bestselling novel about two unforgettable American women.
Hetty "Handful" Grimke, an urban slave in early nineteenth century Charleston, yearns for life beyond the suffocating walls that enclose her within the wealthy Grimke household. The Grimke's daughter, Sarah, has known from an early age she is meant to do something large in the world, but she is hemmed in by the limits imposed on women.
.
This exquisitely written novel is a triumph of storytelling that looks with unswerving eyes at a devastating wound in American history, through women whose struggles for liberation, empowerment, and expression will leave no reader unmoved.
