Taste of Art : Cocktails & Color
Wednesday 16th May (tomorrow!)
5:30-7:30 pm
Come and make art this Wednesday evening & enjoy a cocktail in the process! You can be a beginner, lapsed art-maker or a total newbie, it's all about the fun of creating. Art materials and encouragement included in the price! This Wednesday, we'll be exploring color in pastels and paint. The fabulous Blue exhibition will help to set the tone for the evening. Artist Studio Tour: Larry YoungSunday 20th May
2-4pm
Award winning bronze sculptor, Larry Young, has offered to open up his studio for CAL this coming Sunday. You may know Larry's work from his monumental sculptures around Columbia at Boone Hospital, Boone County National Bank, Columbia College, University Hospital and Stephens College. The studio tour costs $15 per person, which Larry is generously donating to CAL. To register, either click here

Artist Critique Group
Friday, 12:00-1:00 pm
Chat with fellow artists at CAL's monthly critique group. Bring an artwork-in-progress for feedback and suggestions from peers and one of CAL's Teaching Artists. It's very informal, and the emphasis is on constructive help. RSVP by email to Patty at calarted@centurytel.net or call 573-443-8838.
