To All F-Response Universal Users,
First and foremost we hope this message finds you well.
We wanted to reach out to you specifically ahead of this upcoming latest release of F-Response Universal to let you know we have made additional improvements to the LDAP/Active Directory Authentication process.
For many of you this is not a cause for concern as you are not utilizing LDAP/AD authentication, for others, these improvements will break your existing LDAP configuration.
We thought it would be prudent to specifically contact you prior to the release email to let you know this was the case and offer the following mitigating options.
First, we have generated a non-licensed pre-release virtual machine and made this virtual machine available via the link below. This VM can be imported, configured, and tested using the "/usr/sbin/fswitchadm testldap" feature. Best of all it does not need to be activated and contains the latest version of F-Response Universal. Using this VM you can get a functional configuration before upgrading your production appliance.

Second, we have produced a Support Guide covering the process necessary to update the LDAP/AD configuration to meet the latest requirements. This document should go a long way in easing the transition as it covers the entire process step-by-step.
