Are You a Parent or Caregiver of children aged birth to 6 years? Please take part in an important Community Conversation being held in Caledon Village on Wed. June 28th, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
WHAT:
Community conversation with residents in the rural communities of Caledon such as Alton, Belfountain, Caledon East, Caledon Village, Cheltenham, Inglewood, Mono Mills, Palgrave and Terra Cotta. The Region of Peel would like to hear from you about your need for no cost drop-in programs for parents and caregivers to attend with children aged birth to 6 years.
WHO:
Parents, guardians, grandparents and caregivers (e.g. child care providers) of children aged
birth to 6 years who may or may not be current users of family supports programs in Peel Region.
WHEN:
Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 from 6-8pm. Refreshments, snacks and child minding will be
provided.
WHERE:
Caledon Village Place, 18313 Hurontario St, Caledon Village, ON L7K 0X7
WHY:
The Ministry of Education funds three family support programs in Peel Region:
· Parenting and Family Literacy Centres;
· Ontario Early Years Centres; and,
· Child Care Resource Centres.
The Region of Peel will be responsible for planning and managing these programs as of January 1,
2018.
Attend this consultation and help us understand:
· Which programs do you currently use (if any)?
· What do you like about these programs?
· What can be improved?
· What has made it hard for you to use these programs?
