Join us for Art Adventures... this is a monthly interactive visual arts   program that focuses on a particular artist or style of art. The children will learn about the artist or style, and then have the opportunity to create a piece based on what they learned. Children do not need to have any special artistic ability, just a desire to learn and create!  Pre-Registration is REQUIRED each   month.    REGISTER ONLINE NOW!   Contact Gina at  [email protected]  with any questions.    CFCE FACILITATOR:  Gina McGarrigle

This is the second of a 5 part series. This workshop will consist of making a fun craft (A CLIP BOARD) that will hopefully help you be more organized. So come, relax, enjoy your night away from the kids and socialize with so many other parents who are in the same boat as you!  You must register for this PARENT/GUARDIAN ONLY workshop.  Please Register ONLINE NOW! Switch-a-roo: Creating a Literacy Rich Home @ Middleboro Public Library (parent workshop and parent/child program)
Mar 15 @ 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm
Parents requested that we try and take nighttime parent workshop topics and turn them into Parent-child activities. CFCE is going to try and adapt this suggestion by offering "Switch-a-roo"!!! This is now a parent-child activity - geared towards parents of preschoolers - that revolves around:
GETTING YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN READY TO READ BY CREATING A LITERACY-RICH HOME!
During this time, parents and children will work & play together during activities, songs, movement, books, and some art designs. Other times parents will be hearing and sharing discussions about literacy, while their child is working on various related art projects that are simple with instructions and/or using some manipulatives.   Parents will go home with a bag full of helpful ideas while children will go home with a bag full of great projects and activities they created! FUN FOR ALL!!!   If interested in trying this out with us, please register with the children's librarian at 508-946-2470.
