       We are EXCITED--and we hope you are, too!  In each of our lives, God is actively working to bring about His plans and purposes.  Sometimes the road is long and the path difficult--but in it all, we can be confident that God is accomplishing His good and perfect will. 
      Because the need in Sweden is so great--because our friends in Sweden need us there soon--we have often questioned the length of time in takes to get funded as a missionary.  Sometimes the wait seems unbearable.
        But on this journey, we have seen the unmistakable hand of God leading us to people like you--people that God Himself has been calling to be part of what He is going to do in Sweden.  And it is in YOU that we have found God's great joy.       
       YOU are such a vital part of this ministry!  In this update, we'd like to share with you one of the amazing developments that has taken place on this adventure.  We hope you sense our excitement and enthusiasm for what God is doing. 
       Together we can make a difference!  We ARE a team working as ONE!

Two Are Better Than One...
     
      ...The Value of Partnership in All of Life

When we were younger, there was so much that we thought we could do on our own.  We were confident and determined.  We knew our abilities and strengths.  And we did indeed gain success.

But with the passage of time, we have come to realize the overwhelming advantage of teamwork and partnerships.

As the old African proverb states:  If you want to go fast, go alone.  If you want to go far, go together.

God is building significant partnerships in Sweden.  We are absolutely amazed at the potential of the future based on what we are seeing Him accomplish right now in the present. 

Let us tell you about our new partnership team.

For the sake of the Gospel, our sending agency--Converge Worldwide--has formed a strategic alliance with ReachGlobal--the mission division of the Evangelical Free Church of America.  This means that we are now officially on staff with both organizations and one of our responsibilities will be to serve as Converge missionaries leading a ReachGlobal city team in Stockholm.

This team will be a multi-agency, multinational team serving the Swedish church by facilitating prayer, evangelism, discipleship, worship and church planting movements in Stockholm and beyond.   Key to this relationship is the partnership we have with New Life Church Stockholm.  Our vision is to seek God's revival for the city.

Perhaps God is calling you--or someone you know--to serve on our team?  We are already looking for those whom God is preparing.

There are many who sense in their spirits that an awakening is on the horizon in Sweden--that the Light of Christ is once again dawning in the darkness.  We are honored to be called for such a time as this. 

 

How You Can Pray

   

Prayer Requests:
Shortly after you read this post, we are taking a major step of faith--we will begin processing our residency visa and work permit applications with the Swedish government.

This will not become a reality without your prayers and ongoing, faithful support.  We are currently at 54% of our monthly needs.   Prayer can unlock the doors that still need to open.  Please pray for favor with the government officials who will process our visas.  Please pray for favor with those who can make our journey forward happen financially.  Please pray how God would have you partner.   

And most importantly--pray for the revival of Sweden--that God would restore her glory as a Kingdom of Christ followers, a light to the nations, a living example of God's grace in action.
