The Million Pennies for Kids WEIGH-IN
This competition is open to ANYONE (not just runners/walkers). Bring your spare change (in bags, buckets, or wheelbarrows) and whoever has the most weight in change will win some GREAT prizes! There will be one prize for the 'light-weight' division (kids 12 and under) and one prize for the 'heavy-weight' division (those 13 and older). Rumor has it that there is an Incredible Pizza gift card for the light-weight winner and a couple of different gift cards for the winner of the heavy-weight division!
(By the way...Dollars count as well. They will be equal to their weight in pennies!!)
Every Child Deserves a Happy Birthday
CASA is proud to partner with Wish I May, an
organization devoted to providing Happy Birthdays to children who otherwise might not be able to celebrate. Wish I May helps many of our CASA kids celebrate their special day!
Wish I May will have a table on-site to share about their organization and collect any toys or birthday related items you want to share with a child in need. For more information about their organization visit www.wishimay.org!
New-York Life Child ID Booth
New York Life will be on-site to provide parents with Free Photo ID badges for every kid. This includes fingerprints and an id bracelet.
Get Stretched
Fred Engel, from Positive Touch Wellness, will be on-site to provide quick stretch-massages to help runners and walkers stretch out! Thank you Fred for your willingness to help our participants!
