Update from the PTO Board
The MCS PTO has been working hard to support our school, both financially and socially. We had our first meeting of the school year on October 17th, with FANTASTIC attendance! We provided a brief overview of the events that are planned for the upcoming year. Additionally, Dr. Lisi and his administrative team updated parents on initiatives that the school is working to improve and enhance the educational experiences that our children receive, including curriculum reviews, Star testing, literacy grants, and the replacement of EdLine, and parents had the opportunities to ask questions and provide feedback. We encourage all of you to attend these important meetings so that you stay 'in the know' of all the wonderful things that are happening to support our school.

A big thank you to all the families who supported our recent magazine drive! So far, we've raised more than $1,000, which will go directly to supporting school needs, And, we hope that amount will increase when we get the final tally for our paper-based orders.

It's so wonderful to have such an engaged parent base! We've got a number of fundraising and social events planned over the coming months, so continue to monitor your emails. We hope to see you at an event soon!
