Job Opportunities Avantext, Inc. is seeking an aviation maintenance expert to assist us in maintaining our regulatory compliance software. This is a consulting position requiring roughly 50-100 hours of work annually. The consultant will review all new ADs to determine if they are recurring or not as well as check the applicability determination made by Avantext staff. In addition, the consultant will advise Avantext on FAA regulations and aviation maintenance practices as needed to help us develop our software to match the needs of the maintenance professional. Ideally, the consultant will hold IA or DAR certification. Most interaction with Avantext will be conducted via email, telephone or web conferencing, but the consultant should be available to visit our offices for 1 or 2 meetings a year.
