Children's Updates
Millsap Kids Jesse:
Jesse is enjoying his summer and free playtime.  He is a bit disappointed about not playing football this year but loves going and watching his brother practice.  He has found himself a couple of toads to play with and has created them quite a little sanctuary!
Sam:
Sam is attending his first summer camp away from home and without family. I personally am hoping he is able to overcome some of the shyness he has in public places. We cannot wait until he gets home and shares all of the fun activities he experienced.
Abby:
Abby is enjoying her summer, helping out around the house with packing and organizing, and spending time with friendsShe is growing so fast and so tall it is hard to keep her in clothes that fit!
Michael:
Michael has been having a good time this summer so far, and enjoying time with friends.  He is getting so big and strong and has been a great help to us in moving boxes around and cleaning out the shed. Michael has also had opportunities to work with Mark Kerry doing odd jobs which he has done very well at.  So grateful to Mark for the opportunity. Michael would really like to do these kinds of things more often to help offset some of the costs of things he would like to do. Thanks to Leigh Wynn, working with Mark, and Believer's Church, he will be attending the Forward Conference with jentezen Franklin this month!
Hayleigh:
Currently Working for Papa John's Golf Carts and Go Carts, nannying part time and doing odd jobs on the side, planning to be married in the near future.
Hannah: Working as a Full-time Nanny to 3 beautiful little girls.  Hannah is praying also about another trip to Haiti in the Fall.
Urgent Request
Dear Friends,

Please review the following letter links and pray for us.  Ask the Holy Spirit if there is anything you should do to further help. If not, ask him for a name of someone else you might print of our information to give to.  We appreciate your time.

I've worked with a multitude of foster parents during my years of service to Georgia's foster care system. One of the most highly respected and highly favored is Cindy Millsap. Ms. Millsap viewed her life and service as a foster and adoptive parent to be a calling from God, and I agree. Very few foster parents dedicated so much of their love and time to the needs of children in their home as Ms. Millsap.

Cindy has dedicated her life, her home and her professional resources to providing a safe haven for children in need and children without families. Cindy relies on her faith in God and His promises to provide for those who trust in Him as her guidance and support. Her faith has helped provide love and stability for so many orphaned children, several of whom she has adopted and had the opportunity to welcome into her family permanently.

My hope and prayer is that Cindy will be able to continue providing her home and love for some of the state's most vulnerable children. Alicia Lairsey Social Services Supervisor Foster Care/Adoption Division

To future Supporters of Under His Wings Ministries,

I am writing on behalf of Cindy Millsap and Under His Wings Ministries and I would like to point out the great asset that local respite care for local foster children cold be. I have worked with foster children
and their families in clinical settings for over 10 years and I have seen the great strain that parents can experience when no respite care is available.  On the other hand, I have seen how foster parents who have respite resources tend to revitalize their ability to parent and to give much-needed affection and structure to their foster children.  The family with respite options almost always stands a better chance of supporting the child.

For God is not unrighteous to forget or overlook your labor and the love which you have shown for His name's sake in ministering to the needs of the saints (His own consecrated people), as you still do.
