Suraj - What a Difference Two Months Makes!

It's been nearly two months since you helped us cut Suraj free from his chains, and we are thrilled to show you just how far he's already come.

Although he was initially scared and aloof, he's now settling in quite well, has put on a good amount of weight, and is responding well to his mahouts.

An Update on Baby Rose

It's always gratifying to see one of our rescued bears bonding with their caretaker, but in the case of little Rose -- a 3 month old orphan who lost her paw to a poacher's snare -- it is also a huge relief.

Rose is eating better now, has a new fluffy bed to call her own, and is even figuring out how to walk on 3 legs without using her snout for balance.

Thanks to you, she's doing so much better than she was when she arrived at our rescue center. We are truly grateful for your support!
Endangered Reptiles Rescued from Smugglers

Their suspicions aroused by two men with only jute bags for luggage, police at the Mathura Railway junction were shocked to find 18 monitor lizards and 16 flapshell turtles tied and stuffed inside the bags.

The men were arrested, and the turtles and lizards transferred into the care of the team at Wildlife SOS in Agra, and our veterinarian immediately got to work.
