Bagger upgrades are available for Bagmaster® F-178, F-180, C-108 or C-109 VFFS with Nematron interface. If you are still using the Nematron HMI you need to think about replacing it now. The Nematron HMI will not last forever. It has an internal memory battery that has a limited life. Replacement or repair is not available. If it fails it will take weeks to get your bagger back up and running. We have several options available to fix this issue.
Level 1: Nematron HMI replacement to Touchscreen HMI. This upgrade replaces the Nematron with an HMI touchscreen and new operating system. This will upgrade your bagger with a modern touchscreen HMI interface. This interface will be easier to navigate and adjust settings. It also provides an additional setting that increase cycle rates.
Level 2: Complete Rebuild of Bagger. This price varies from bagger to bagger. We can rebuild your bagger in our factory or at your facility. With this upgrade we would replace the Nematron with a touchscreen HMI and replace all worn components to include inner and outer jaw, impulse cables, air cylinders, springs, bearings, and worn linkages.
Level 3: Purchase a Factory Refurbished Bagger. Trade in your bagger for a discount on a factory refurbished bagger that comes with a like new warrantee. This costs about half the price of the new bagger. We have several baggers in stock now.
Level 4: Purchase our New Bagmaster® 250 or 400 VFFS Bagger. These new baggers are a completely new modern design bagger that can be used for heavy duty industrial applications or food applications. The new baggers use our new B&R controls package, servo drive belts, and servo drive jaw. They can be configured to your requirements with impulse seal or constant heat seal jaws, with optional header seal and hole punch. The baggers can be configured to handle up 20 pounds of hardware or 10 ounces of popcorn. The servo drive system provides increased speed and reliability.
