Are you a municipal leader looking for someone to talk to about an issue in your community?
 
Why not contact a mentor through the Saskatchewan Municipal Peer Network? The network connects municipal administrators and elected officials with highly-experienced peers who can provide guidance, coaching, and advice. There are currently nine volunteer mentors who are mayors, reeves, councillors, and administrators.

International Day of Older Persons

As Convention 2018 keynote Doug Griffiths recognized, elders are community builders. The International Day of Older Persons , the first day of October, is an opportunity to highlight the contributions of older persons and raise awareness about the joys and challenges of aging in today's world.

Municipalities are encouraged to sign a proclamation in support.

The Physician Recruitment Agency of Saskatchewan has transitioned to the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

The agency that focused on recruitment and retention of physicians and health care professionals in Saskatchewan transitioned to the health authority July 23.
