MeyerSale20th Annual Meyer Outlet Sale and Humane Society of the North Bay Fundraiser
December 1-12
Vallejo's most popular holiday event is back, with the 20th anniversary of the Meyer Factory Outlet Sale kicking off in December.

For two decades, Meyer has offered bargain-hunters incredible savings on premium cookware brands with this once-a-year sale that draws shoppers from all over the Bay Area.

And the spirit of giving back continues through Meyer's yearly partnership with the Humane Society of the North Bay, itself celebrating a 30th anniversary of service to the homeless animals in our community.

Shoppers can donate the shelter animals at the register, or drop off individual cash and check donations even without a purchase; either way, Meyer generously matches all contributions to the Humane Society up to $15,000.

Great bargains and good deeds! Make the most of it December 1st through 12th at two locations: 525 Curtola Parkway, Vallejo and 2001 Meyer Way, Fairfield. Information, call 707-551-2800 or visit hsnb.org.

HanniganWeekly "Walk with the Supervisor" event to include Kaiser Permanente Physician
Walk on December 9th with Dr. Michael Mason
December 5, 2016 - Solano County District One Supervisor Erin Hannigan and her District Representatives are welcoming Dr. Michael Mason, family medicine physician and geriatrician with Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo, to their weekly "Walk with the Supervisor" event.

"Team Hannigan" meets every Friday with the goal of encouraging people of all ages and walking abilities to exercise on a regular basis. Participants walk while talking about important issues facing the community. Over the past year more than 100 people have participated, sharing their stories while enjoying the fresh air.

On Friday, December 9th, Dr. Mason will also be walking and talking about ways seniors can stay healthy.

"Walking is a great way to get outside, meet new people and exercise," says Dr. Mason. "Staying healthy is important and I look forward to tying up my laces and chatting about other ways to stay fit."

"I am excited to walk with Dr. Mason and learn about ways we can all stay healthy," says Erin Hannigan, Solano County District One Supervisor. "Vallejo is such a vibrant community and I am looking forward to another great walk with some of our residents."

Kaiser Permanente has supported "Walk with the Supervisor" events in the past. Pedometers were distributed to attendees at previous walking events. Fanny packs will be available to participants on the December 9th walk with Dr. Mason.

"Walk with the Supervisor" is held each week on Friday at 9am at the Vallejo waterfront, outside the ferry building.

For more information, please call (707) 553-5363.
