led a presentation on the various tools and services offered by the Center at a recent VCU School of Nursing Research Council.
"You are not alone," said Shirley L.T. Helm, MS, CCRP, manager of clinical research administration for the VCU Wright CCTR's Clinical Research Services. "We are here to help you with a team of experts in the areas of research, biostatistics, informatics, study conduct, regulatory development...you name it."

The VCU Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research reminds investigators to please cite the CTSA grant, per requirement of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), if you receive funding through the VCU Wright CCTR or use any CTSA facility, services, or tools to support your research.
This includes the VCU Wright CCTR's Research Incubator, grant writing assistance, Clinical Research Informatics (consultations, REDCap, i2b2), Clinical Research Services (clinical trials, volunteer recruitment), etc.

The VCU Wright CCTR is co-sponsoring the "How-to Talks by Postdocs" speaker series along with Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences and VCU Postdoctoral Association.
Rebecca Martin, Ph.D., will present, "
The Active Learning Teaching Revolution: Teaching STEM so that Your Students Actually Learn."
These sessions are free and open to all in the VCU and Virginia Biotechnology Research Park communities. This session will take place in the second floor lecture room of the Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences (509 N. 12th St.) on Monday, November 7 from noon to 1:00 p.m.
