Helping Hands
V.H.S. - November 30 @ 7 p.m.
What is V.H.S.?
Well, it is not "Video Home System." For those of you old enough to remember, that is how we watched movies at home before the digital world grew up.  VHS stands for Vision, Huddle & Skills.  On Monday, November 30 @ 7 pm we will have the first of many VHS meetings.  We will spend some time celebrating Grand Opening and what has happened since. We will "huddle" in our various teams: worship, children's, frontline, outreach, prayer, discipleship, etc.  If you are considering serving in an area this would be a great time to connect with people on those teams.  Finally, we will learn the skills we need to effectively build God's Kingdom in this community.
Here are some key things we will cover that night:
2. Christmas plans. Movie Night, Christmas Eve Service
3. Nominations for 2016 Leadership Team.
4. Celebration!
Decorating Day!
We will be decorating the church for Christmas this Sunday, December 22 immediately following the service. Lunch is provided! Feel free to bring a Christmas treat to share as we make the building festive for Christmas!  We will have the Christmas music playing!

 O asis Compassion Agency:
We will be collecting items for the upcoming holiday season for Oasis Compassion Agency. We asked what is most needed at all times. Food items are always welcome but keep these things you may not have considered on your list as well.
Bath Items (hygiene Items) :
  Shampoo
          Conditioner
           Bath Soap
           Toothpaste
           Tooth Brush
           Deodorant
           Razors
           Detergent
           Feminine Pads
Children's products are appreciated as well.
Pantry:
We are always low in sugar, oil, rice, and coffee but everything else is very welcomed.
From Oasis Compassion: I like to ask donors to send note cards with positive messages. They are always so excited when they get their hygiene kit with a card. The need for hygiene items is huge! They cannot buy these products with food stamps!!!
