Are you ready for a "wild" night of spooky animals, trail walks, pumpkin carving, pirates and princesses?
Night of the Living Museum returns for two nights, Friday,
October 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is a non-scary Halloween event for families with kids ages 12 and under.
Come dressed as your favorite character or wild animal. Trick-or-treat throughout the museum as you walk through themed galleries filled with characters and themed decorations!
* live animal shows
* pumpkin carving
* spider education
* princesses in fairyland
* pirates in the cave
* a nighttime hike on the boardwalk (weather permitting)
* creating creepy crafts
* science education
* "Fright Light" planetarium shows
* inflatable characters in the garden for photo ops
* trick-or-treating throughout the Musem
The Wild Side Café and the Wild Things Museum Store will be open all evening.
Cost: VLM members $10 per person, non-members $15 per
person. (Tickets will NOT be sold at the door the evening of the event.) Purchase
Ages: Children ages 2 and
under are free. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The museum will close at 4 p.m. on Oct. 20 and 21 to prepare for the evening event.
