Letter from the PTA President

I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to serve as Virginia Lake's PTA president. Looking back over this last year we have accomplished so much for our school, staff, students, and families of Virginia Lake. I am so proud of our school and how our dedicated volunteers are in making sure that not only our events happen, but they happen with excellence. We truly have a great school and it is reflected in our strong PTA.

I am so happy to pass the torch to the new team of leaders for the 2017-2018 school year. They bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas that will keep our PTA strong and moving forward. Please welcome our 2017-2018 Virginia Lake Board (pending the final vote on May 16th!).

Seifert's Spot
A note from Mrs. Seifert, Principal…
The year has gone so quickly. With it comes so many fond memories and experiences. We want to extend a hand of gratitude to the Virginia Lake Community for working with us as partners in this amazing challenge of preparing the next generation of leaders.

There are so many people to thank that help us behind the scenes. Thank you to all who have assisted in so many ways: parents, teachers, high school helpers, interns, student teachers, grandparents, community volunteers, bus drivers, classroom assistants, neighbors, friends. We are truly blessed. I personally want to thank you all for welcoming me to Virginia Lake. I was so excited to come back “home.”

It is with great excitement that we begin our planning for the next school year. Building off of the wonderful work of 2016-17, we look to continue to grow as teachers and leaders.

As we embark on another year, we look forward to continuing to motivate our students to be 21st century learners, risk takers, and kind spirits.

We hope summer brings you time to relax, refresh, and enjoy the gift of down-time with your families and friends. And to our families leaving us and moving to Jr. High, we thank you for your partnership over the years and invite you to come back any time to visit. You will ALWAYS be a Dolphin!

Donut Day was a success! We had a great turn out and a special thanks to Spunky Dunkers for their delicious donuts and Christie's Dairy Delights who provided the coffee this year.
