10th Annual Winemakers Dinner & Auction
Friday, May 12th @ 5:30pm
The 10th Annual Vallejo Chamber Winemakers Dinner & Auction is right
around the corner! Join us Friday evening on May 12th for an elegantly served four-course meal from Zio Fraedo's with wine pairings from Artesa Vineyards
for each item on the dinner menu. The evening begins with a cocktail hour and silent auction. The live auction is to be held in between dinner courses. Be sure to RSVP to this event in advance, seating is limited and is expected to sell out!

James Q. Wilson Award for Excellence in Community Policing
Vallejo Police Department
On April 11, 2017, the Vallejo Police Department was awarded the James Q. Wilson Award for Excellence in Community Policing at the California Police Chief's Association 2017 Conference.
The 2017 James Q. Wilson Award for Excellence in Community Policing is presented by the Regional Community Policing Institute - California (RCPI-CA), and sponsored by the American Military University. The purpose of this award is to recognize California law enforcement agencies that have successfully institutionalized the Community Policing philosophy. One agency each year is chosen as the recipient of the award and the selections will be made by a panel of experts who have no affiliation with any of the nominated agencies.

League of Chefs
Second Saturday Pop-up Dinners
League of Chefs "Dinners To-Go" are now available for pick-up at the Vallejo Ferry Terminal! We'll still be handing over dinners from our kitchen at 300 Virginia Street, but you can also find us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 7 on the sidewalk near the entrance to the boats! This is so exciting for us to able to offer our delicious dinners to the busy commuters of Vallejo. We think this reflects positively on a city that cares about its community as well. And if you haven't ordered one of our dinners to-go yet, you must!
Our next pop-up dinner is May 13th and will be a 4 course menu with wine pairing...we'll announce menu and pricing shortly - but you can make your reservations now at

Human Trafficking Awareness Forum
Be A Part of the Discussion
Human Trafficking occurs in epidemic proportions across the nation, including Solano County. in an effort to bring awareness to this crime, Solano County Supervisor, Erin Hannigan, has developed a public educational forum, including a panel of experts in the field. This forum will offer information to help families avoid becoming victims of violence and abuse.

Tim & Jeannie Hamann Foundation Annual Dinner & Auction
For Cancer Patients that Need a Hand Up
The Tim & Jeannie Foundation was founded to support local individuals fighting cancer. Many patients have suffered loss due to medical expenses, the cost of getting to & from treatments and lost hours at work. The Foundation assists these patients with basic needs such as rent or mortgage payments, utilities, food and gas. The latest donation for a Hand Up paid for a motel room for a month for a homeless family with a member going through treatments.
