Fighting Back Partnership
The Hill Vallejo has generously offered a challenge grant to Fighting Back Partnership for its life-changing family and youth support programs here in Vallejo. The Church will donate $5,000 to Fighting Back Partnership if it can raise $5,000 during the month of December 2016, for a grand total of $10,000! So, we need everyone to contribute as much as you can to this great work. Fighting Back Partnership houses homeless families, supports youth success in school for college and careers, and it bridges families from crisis to success through intensive case management support and parent education. Please be generous and help us to meet this very reachable goal. You can donate at

Youth Ag Day 2017
This marks the 15th year of Youth Ag Day, hosted by the Solano County Fair Association. Youth Ag Day offers a unique educational experience for third-grade students in Solano County on
Tuesday, March 14, 2017. More than 2,800 third graders participated in last year's event, which provided an educational and fun environment for students to learn about the important contributions agriculture makes to their lives.
We need approximately 50 volunteers to assure the students are safe and have a great time during Youth Ag Day. I only have 10 signed up so far. So PLEASE register to volunteer and ask your friends and organizations to join us as well.
A sponsorship of $550 will subsidize the cost of one bus to transport third graders to this event. Any monetary donation would be appreciated, and would help support this annual event.
All Sponsors are listed on banners displayed during Youth Ag Day, and sent to all the teachers who participate so they can share the Youth Ag Day supporters with their parents.
We hope you will become a sponsor and/or volunteer for Youth Ag Day this year. Please return the attached "Youth Ag Day Helping Hands" form as soon as possible but
no later than February 24, 2017 (so we can notify teachers if their bus has been sponsored). The third-grade students of Solano County thank you in advance for your support.
Please direct your sponsorship and questions to
[email protected] or contact Marcia Coffman at (707) 551-2002. Thank you for your time!
