You're invited - Join us at Green Guru to celebrate!
Continue the celebration into the evening - join BMA from 6:00 p.m. to midnight for a VBP after party! Join us at Green Guru, a company that is dedicated to the design and manufacture of gear and products from recycled or reclaimed materials. They're located close to Valmont Bike Park, just across the street at 47th St and the Goose Creek Path.
Bring your friends and family to celebrate at this bombastic party! Copious beer from Oskar Blues, a food truck to keep you nourished, live music early in the evening, and a badass bike flick on the outdoor screen once the sun goes down. Bring your lawn chair, your favorite beer mug, and the big smile plastered on your face after riding the Park.
All we ask in return is a donation to Valmont Bike Park. You can't say that about a night out on Pearl Street, so we'll see you at Green Guru on Saturday night!

Volunteer at the Park
Volunteers are also needed throughout the summer. We expect that all summer long, folks will be flocking to this park to enjoy the world-class new facility, but might be a little at a loss on exactly which jump lines are right for them or the best way around the Glade trails.
That's where you come in. City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department has asked for your help. They want to train up some people as Park Hosts to know the park backwards and forwards, so that you can then convey that info to the general public. The Parks Department needs you to understand the layout of the park so you can tell XC and DJ riders where to go, so you can help people understand that different park features are built for different ability levels, and answer people's questions about the park and keep everything running smoothly.
The Valmont Park Host program is also the "gateway" to a potential volunteer maintenance crew. So if you want to spend some time digging at Valmont this summer, you will first need to be trained up as a Park Host.
