Gentle Yoga
Wednesdays, October 10, 17, 24,31,  11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Please join Sandy Honeyman, temple member and 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher for Gentle Yoga.  The class can be combined with Wednesday weekly Torah study.

No previous yoga experience required but class is designed for those who can comfortably get up and down from a yoga mat.  (Special arrangements can be made for those with more limited mobility.)

Yoga offers the opportunity to quiet and focus the mind, and to improve physical strength and balance.  There will be no fee for this class, but we do need you to R.S.V.P.
High Holy Day Ushers Needed
It might be hard to believe, but while everyone is making plans for the summer, we are aware that Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are just around the corner (3 months away). To all of our High Holy Day Ushers from last year, your time and contribution to our services was so very appreciated and ensured that people were welcomed and supported as they came into Temple Shir Tikva.

We are again looking for congregants to volunteer as ushers for our High Holy Day services. If you want the perfect opportunity to volunteer at TST, this is it!  A one time commitment, however, one that is vital. Our usher squad is an essential part of ensuring meaningful, engaging and participatory High Holy Day worship services for all.

Will you join our Usher Squad?

Please email Liz Vinsant, our Usher Squad coordinator, at [email protected] to let her know if you will be able to help. In mid-July you will receive a sign up form and instructions.

Thank you for helping our High Holy Day services run so smoothly.
