On May 30, 2014, Imam Feisal and Daisy Khan, Executive Director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement, were awarded the 2014 Faith-in-Action award by the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy (ICRD). 

In his acceptance speech, Imam Feisal discussed the ongoing importance of interfaith work, the development of an American Muslim Identity, and two Cordoba Initiative projects - Islamic Rule of Law Index and the Cordoba House project
