Scholarship Applications
Are Now Available
The Viking Booster Club is proud to announce they will be awarding between 15-20 scholarships in the amount of $1000 each to the 2017 graduating senior class. The recipients will be chosen on the basis of their accomplishments in the following areas:
- Fremd Activities
- Leadership
- Community Service
- All-Around (Fremd Activities, Leadership, and Community Service combined)
We encourage ALL seniors that are planning to further their education at a four year college/university, community college or trade school to apply. Financial need and academic accomplishments are not a consideration for any of these scholarships, but the student's family must be a member of the Fremd Viking Booster Club

PRESIDENT'S Message

The Fremd Booster Club Board has a great group of 40 - 60 Fremd parents that enjoy supporting our mission of fundraising and financially supporting all students at Fremd High School, in all of their endeavors.
Each year we have natural volunteer turnover. The parents of graduating seniors leave the board, and others move on due to work or other schedule changes. To be a successful club, we need new volunteers to fill open board positions. No previous experience is required. We will be holding two New Member Orientation meetings in April. Both sessions will be identical, you only need to attend once. They will be held at 7 pm at Fremd. We will have information about our various committees, explaining responsibility and time commitment. Please consider attending, we need additional dedicated volunteers to continue our mission. Boosters is still working hard to support your children. Much of the spring semester will focus on giving back money to Fremd and its students via scholarships, the Principal's wish list, and of course the Post-Prom activities associated with the trip to Bridgeport Art Center.
Although most of our fundraising is done, we still have our Spring Craft Fair coming up on April 8, 2017. Please come out and support our crafters. Admission and parking is FREE. Also, our Spirit Shop is open often with lots of new items, so think of the Shop first when you are shopping for Fremd gear. Finally, it is never too late to join Boosters. We turn your $25 membership fee into lots of wonderful support for Fremd students. Visit fremdboosterclub.org membership materials. We are independent of any other organization. All $25 stays at Fremd. There are no monies sent to state or national entities.
The Booster Club will be pushing hard to finish strong. Thanks to our board for all their hard work, and all booster club members for supporting Fremd High School and our students.

29th Annual Post Prom Event
Saturday~ May 20, 2017
The Fremd Boosters proudly sponsor the Post Prom Event in order to provide a safe, affordable, and exciting experience for all students. Immediately following Prom, students and chaperones are transported from the Renaissance Center by luxury coach buses to the "Skyline Loft" on the 5th Floor of the
Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago. Wonderful food and beverages are available all evening while entertainment is provided by Dance Party DJ's. DJ SPIN will make a special two hour guest "appearance" to add to the excitement.

Thank you for your support!
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2017 Grand Gala Dinner Dance in support of our Fremd students. Jersey and jewelry raffles, trips to Vegas and South Carolina, a wine pull, Blackhawks and Cubs items, and a number of Fremd items, including parking passes were purchased by the attendees. A huge thank you to everyone who donated items to the live and silent auctions, to our teachers and administration staff, and to all the student organizations that created items and contributed to our event. And special thanks to the Dinner Dance committee and Booster Club volunteers, who spent many hours planning for this spectacular evening.

Providing safe and reliable transportation to Bridgeport Art Center is quite an undertaking and a large cost. We are asking for any donations to help defray the costs. Donors will receive recognition of their generosity at bus sign up, on the Booster website, and in the bulletin.
