Vogelzang Birdsong Viognier 2010
Santa Ynez Valley, California
$22.95
This Viognier offers all the beautiful exotic notes of the varietal without being overpowering. Tropical notes of lychee fruit and jasmine jump from the glass and then yield to more subtle accents of dried apricots and river stones. The Bird Song Viognier is from a block that was planted in 1998. It is a blend of Viognier that has been fermented in the neutral oak but also in steel.
